This week Pastor Bomey uses part of Job's life to tell us there really is hope. In Job 6:8-10 and 7:7-7 Job is sick and tired of bing afflicted. He was tired of the things that have been happening to him and he wished that God would just end it all. Everyone has times in their life when they don't think there is any hope. Times when they want to give up, end the pain of what they are going through, maybe even have thoughts of suicide. Even though we as humans go through things that hurt us, God is in control! Everything that we go through has a reason. God is sovereign! Everything that He lets happens to us has a reason. These things are meant to make us stronger in many ways, our walk with God, our faith, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, etc.
In Job 42: 1&2 Job realizes that God is in control and nothing is to difficult for Him! There are many places in the bible where a situation seemed hopeless and that nothing short of a miracle could help but God came into the picture and made the situation right for His goal and His reasons. In Peter 1: 3-5 Peter praises the Lord for everything that he has done for us. Praise the lord in all situations. There is hope and that hope is Jesus Christ.
