Annual Business Meeting

The church’s Annual Business meeting is scheduled for 6:30 PM on Tuesday, September 30.  Reports will be available on the prior Sunday.  Everyone is welcome, but only official members may vote.

VISITORS: We’re glad you’re here today!  Please be sure to fill-out a welcome card (found in your welcome packet, or the pew card holder where you’re sitting) and place it in the offering basket this morning.

PRAY Thursdays

Be part of making a positive difference for America by taking time to pray and intercede for the nation’s leaders and the 2008 presidential election every Thursday wherever you are from noon to 12:30 PM.  Also visit www.NationalDayofPrayer.org.

Adult Bonfire, Hayride, & Picnic Coming

On October 25 once again this year Ron & Deb Hodges are sponsoring a adults-only bonfire, hayride, and picnic at their home in Manchester. Time is 7 PM. Please contact Deb by e-mail at RDHodges@ hughes.net to let her know if you will attend and what food dish you can bring.

Youth Scavenger Hunt

On September 13th the youth will be having a scavenger hunt from 1pm - 7pm.  Please bring your digital cameras, their cables, and your friends!  We’re going to have a blast!

Youth Corn Maze, Hayride and Bonfire

The Youth will be going to Talladay Farms for a Corn Maze event in October.  Afterward we will travel nearby to the Santure’s house for a hayride and bonfire.  Details regarding time and cost will follow in the next few weeks.

Sunday Evening Sept. 21st @ 6PM we’ll be showing the DVD – FLYWHEEL.  Don’t miss this excellent Christian family movie!!

Visit the Ministry Table of the Month

This month the ROYAL RANGERS department is hosting the Ministry of the Month table. We want everyone to be aware of what each of our ministries has to offer to you and your family.  A different ministry will be highlighted next month.

Our next Health & Healing Fair committee meeting is set for Monday, Sept. 15 at 7 PM.

Thank you new BGMC Coordinators

Thank you Sayre Nesmith and John LeBlanc for volunteering to bless our children’s church by teaching the kids the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge curriculum on the 1st Sunday of every month.

Nursery Help Needed

An adult nursery worker is needed to serve on the 4th Sunday of every other month during the church time.  If you’re interested in working with infants and blessing their parents please contact Bonnie Veldhuizen.
