Thank you everyone who participated in any way in our church’s portion of the county-wide 40 Days of Prayer last week, especially those who helped us pray 24/7 for three days.  Special thanks to Patty Lady and Joe Sazyc for their leadership in this important ministry.  Keep on praying…and remember the culminating Hosanna 2008 event at 5 PM, March 16 (@ Pioneer H.S.). Prayer continues at other churches for 14 more days.

Practice times and dates set for Fine Arts human video competitions

Practices for human video start TODAY immediately after AM service for the large and small/solo human video groups. All information and registration forms are available on the youth bulletin board or see Pastor Mike. Michigan District Fine Arts finals are May 16-17 at St. Clair Shores A/G.

Prayer Meeting TONIGHT!

Don’t miss the blessing of praying for many of the needs of the church, our people, the world , and your own TONIGHT during our 6-7 PM monthly meditative prayer time. Jesus once said to His sleeping disciples, “Could you not watch with me one hour!?”

Leadership Prayer Gathering Set

Pastor Bomey and the church Board are asking all department leaders to join us and the rest of the pastoral staff for a time of prayer together on Saturday, March 8 from 9:30-10:30 AM.
A continental breakfast will be available prior to the start of prayer.  If you lead a ministry of our church this is important…please try to be present.

Mercy Grounds Coffee Shop Craft Day/Night

Everyone is welcome to participate in the Saturday, March 8 craft activity from 2-11 PM.  A sign-up sheet is in the foyer.  See Felicia Rodriguez for more details.

Compassion Ministries Expanding

We are working on a plan to help more people with food needs in the near future.  You can help now by bringing in your donations of food supplies and placing them in the designated box in the coatroom. They will help people in need of this great compassion ministry.  Thank you!

M’PACT Girls Club temporary substitute found!

Thank you Kathy Tippie for supplying our need for a temporary substitute teacher in the Wed. PM girls club.  Your willing heart is greatly appreciated!

Upgraded Student Ministries  WEBSITE under construction

Pastor Mike and Kyle Lady are working on improvements to the church’s youth website.  We’ll let you know when it’s ready to go.

Men’s Golf League Forming

If you’re interested in fun, fellowship, and a little competition in golf this year talk with Jeff Nesmith about the church golf league.  Spots are available on various teams NOW.
